EXTRUSION PRODUCTS
Extrusion continues to be an integral part of today's sophisticated
medical device. We understand this and meet these challenges with
quality and consistency in existing and new formulations of profile,
spiral twist and Geo-Trans® silicone tubing. Our custom silicone
extrusions have a verified history of success in many hospital
applications. Those applications include peristaltic pump systems,
surgical drains, catheter systems and as an intravenous drug delivery
vehicle.
Geo® Trans
Our Geo-Trans® (Geometric Transitional) patented extrusion process makes
it possible to vary inside diameter, outside diameter, the shape,
number and location of multiple lumens without joints, connectors,
seams, adhesives, couplings or secondary connections.
Material/Durometer Switch
We have the ability to switch silicone materials during the extrusion
process. This allows us to vary the hardness of a product over its
length. Catheters requiring a more rigid proximal end with a flexible
tip can now be manufactured in one step using this process.
ID/OD Extrusions
Our patented extrusion process makes anything possible. We
can vary the inside and outside diameters to your exact
specifications. Nothing is too small, too fine or too
complicated for our designers.
ID/OD - Bump and Tapered Extrusions
We can produce variable ID/OD tubing in a variety of tapers and ballooned configurations.
Multilayer Extrusions
We can layer cross sections of many types of materials to
create a product with unique requirements. Sponge to
solid silicone materials are also available. Our team
of designers will be happy to assist you with your
prototype. And, we will meet your deadline!
Profile Extrusions
We can produce anything -- from complex cross-sections to geometric
designs. Think thin walled, thick walled, ribbed, perforated
or split. We can make it! Just give us your configuration.
Profile - Formed Extrusions
Tubing and profiles can be formed with bends, coils, or
pigtails in single, or multiple planes.
Ribbon and Tape
We can produce anything -- from complex cross-sections to geometric
designs. Think thin walled, thick walled, ribbed, perforated
or split. We can make it! Just give us your configuration.
Spiral Twist Extrusions
We have recently developed a close-tolerance silicone tubing that can spiral or twist to a desired pitch.
Sponge-Foam Closed Cell Extrusions
We have created a proprietary silicone foaming agent that allows us
to produce closed-cell silicone sponge material. This can be extruded
in many cross-section variations or they can be layered with standard
